Toilet Training Insert for Cats
Follow these steps to get your cat toilet trained in 2-3 weeks!
Step 1: Get Your Cat Used to the New Setup
Place your cat's regular litter box right next to the toilet while you wait for the toilet training insert to arrive. This lets your cat get used to the new location.
Step 2: Add the Toilet Trainer
Remove the litter box and place the toilet trainer on the toilet bowl. Add a thin layer of litter on top of the trainer so it still feels familiar.
Duration: 3-5 days
Step 3: Gradually Remove the Inner Loops
Every few days, carefully remove one of the inner loops from the trainer. Keep the remaining loops and a small amount of litter in place.
Duration: Remove one loop every 3-5 days
Step 4: Slowly Reduce the Litter
Each day, use less and less litter on the trainer until there is no litter left at all. Your cat should now be comfortable using the trainer without any litter.
Duration: After 1 week, you should not need litter
Step 5: Remove the Inner Tray
Take out the entire inner tray and keep only the white pedestal in the toilet. Your cat should now be using the toilet normally.
Duration: 3-5 days
Step 6: Remove the White Pedestal
Once your cat is fully comfortable, remove the white pedestal completely. Congratulations! Your cat is now toilet-trained.
